Terms of Service

These Terms explain the basic expectations for using SnapExpense as a personal expense-management and record-keeping tool.

1. Using SnapExpense

SnapExpense is software designed to help users organize and manage financial records, including expenses, income, bills, receipts, manually managed financial accounts, shared expenses, repayments, and related summaries.

You agree to use SnapExpense lawfully and to provide information you are permitted to record and manage.

2. Your records and responsibility

You remain responsible for reviewing information you enter or save, including amounts, dates, categories, account details, receipt details, shared expense assignments, and repayment status. SnapExpense does not replace your own review or record-keeping judgment.

Receipt scanning and extracted information should be checked before you rely on it. Keep any source documents you need for your own records.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for protecting your sign-in information and for activity carried out through your account. Contact support if you believe your account has been accessed improperly.

Account deletion can be requested inside SnapExpense. Read account deletion information.

4. Company Workspace

Company Workspace features may allow members to work with shared financial records. Create, view, edit, or share information only when you have appropriate authority. Shared history may need to remain in minimized anonymous form when a user leaves or deletes an account.

Company Owners are responsible for following the in-app ownership transfer or Company close requirements before deleting their own account.

5. Availability and changes

Features may change as SnapExpense is maintained and improved. Availability may be interrupted by maintenance, faults, device conditions, networks, or provider dependencies.

6. No professional advice

7. Respecting information and service use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload harmful content, or use another person’s information without permission. Reasonable steps may be taken to protect accounts, users, and service reliability.
